Stainless Tank & Mix fabricated a 400 litre mobile ribbon blender for a healthcare customer. A mobile unit works very well where the user has a production room, but that room is not set up for washing and cleaning. The unit can be wheeled to a dedicated wash bay and cleaned adequately by dedicated cleaners.
The blender is to be fitted with a vacuum loader to the lid and the inspection hatch has a bolted safety grille. The gearbox being a shaft mount with a torque arm bracket keeps the gearmotor install tidy.
The shaft seals can easily be disassembled by hand and the internals are split to allow the internal assembly to be completely removed – without tools; the 2 nuts visible are just to adjust the packing if necessary
The customer wanted to do all the electrical work themselves including the safety switches – just hope they weld any brackets on nicely.
